City Of Manchester Today and Tommorrow

The City of Manchester is an innovated community minimizing the tax dollars offering quality services.  The administration of the City is to promote employee team work in providing service for the City with the highest regard to its Citizens, Industry, and Retail. Interstate I-24 provides access to the community which makes it a prime market for Housing, Retail and Industry.

Manchester has community growth for various home style requirements, places to worship, two elementary schools and a middle school recognized for its educational excellence. The City is constantly assessing how to better serve its citizens with provisions of sidewalks, lighting, improving and increasing water/sewer lines, and appreciates its citizen’s opinions to make Manchester an suburb place to live, play and work.  It is most recently known for its growth with the arts of music from several vendors as well as routes to the famous “Bonnaroo”. Its recreation center provides fit and wellness programs, various physical sports and activities, and recently increased its Greenway to parks and major highways.  The City has a new Arts Center which offers education in theater and amusement.  The City offers several events throughout the year through its community programs, tourism programs, school programs, recreation programs, the Coffee County Fair, and much more encouraging its citizen participation.

The City is proud of the Industrial growth through its planning efforts with Coffee County, State of Tennessee, and other local surrounding governments.  The City is now pursuing and making preparations for more Retail development.

Be part of a growing community known as The City of Manchester nested in Coffee County, in middle Tennessee whether you wish to participate in agriculture, industry, retail, or just have quiet places to worship, or practice in the arts.  Manchester is a historical community which is here to educate, serve, and protect promoting growth.
