Senior Pool Party
Bring your suit and float, Go down the slides, or Play some water volleyball.
On Wednesday, August 11th, at 11:30 a.m. there will be a Senior Pool Party at the outdoor pool.
The Parks and Recreation Department will provide salads, sandwiches, and smoothies.
Please sign-up at that front desk.
Cost: $5.00 per person
Participants will be able to eat indoors or outdoors.
Teen Council BBQ
The Manchester Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting a BBQ for all teens ages 13 years old to 18 years old (must be currently enrolled in middle school, high school, or home school) to introduce Teen Council to new prospective members. If you are already a member of Teen Council, make sure to bring a friend or two.
The BBQ will be held on Friday, August 13th, from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Camp Out
The Manchester Parks and Recreation Dept. will be hosting a camp out on Friday, August 27th starting at 7:00 p.m. and ending on Saturday, August 28th at 7:00 a.m. The camp out is open to all ages. However, children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult. This adult is... responsible for setting up the tent and spending the entire night in the tent with the children they are accompanying. Children over 12 years old will be supervised by Recreation Dept. staff. For those who do not have a tent or a parent to supervise them, they may still participate and enjoy the fun. Simply bring a sleeping bag and you will spend the night in the Ada Wright Building, monitored by Recreation Dept. staff throughout the night. Participants will be able to enjoy storytelling, a hay ride, bon fire, games, swimming, and more. The cost to participate in the camp out is $10.00 per person (with adult supervision) or $15.00 per person (without adult supervision). Participants must pre-register by Wednesday, August 25th. Manchester Star Triathlon
The Manchester Star Triathlon will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2010, starting at 8:00 a.m. The triathlon consists of a 200 yard swim, followed by a 14 mile bike ride, and ending with a 5K run. The first 100 participants that register will receive a t-shirt. Registration packets will be available for pickup on Friday, September 3rd, from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, September 4th, from 6:00 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. There will be a pre-race meeting at 7:30 a.m. For additional information, please send an e-mail to Star triathlon or visit the Star Triathlon Website.
